Irish Today update on Lawrence Wilson.

Lawrence Wilson Update

Coach Charlie Weis and Jimmy Gonzales visited the Wilson family this morning at their home. Lawrence was not home, but I spoke with his father about the visit.

"It went great," Wilson's father said. "It changed everything."

Did they re-commit to the Irish?

"No, net yet," Wilson's father said. "But we really liked what we heard."

This is a great indication of not only Wilson's increasing interest in Notre Dame, but also Weis' ability to recruit and make a great impression on families.

Looks like Ohio State is stealing Wilson away from us.

And let's not kid ourselves... Ohio State is an impressive team. If they don't get sanctioned, they will be in the title hunt within the next couple years. Teddy Ginn is amazing.
