The average ND fan is from real america, we wear sweat shirts, and drink beer. We are normal hard working american's, and if they say weis isn't good enough for them that would be a slap in my face. |

If he is even in the running as a candidate, shouldn't we go after him now and make him an offer he can't refuse? I still think NFL is the way to go. Signing 6th, 7th, and 8th choice college choices is undoubtedly going to be seen as a disappointment. I think we need someone relatively big to salvage the class of 2009. Weis works with me, but I can't believe Fassel backed down. |

After all, David Givens seemed like just an ordinary, run of the mill, college receiver when he was at ND, and now he is one of the Patriots top receivers doing Sirius commercials with John Madden. The guy obviously knows how to turn players into talented superstars. That's just my opinion. |

1. Dan Hawkins (Has said he would take the ND job - but has an extension offer from Boise State for 2.6 million that ND wont match i think) 2. Charles Wies (Most Likely) 3. Butch Davis (Unlikely he wants to take a year off) | |
