Man, the Purdue team we faced was much better then they are playing now. I think we would have beaten them easily. Schedule timing is everything.

| Waterboy | I cannot agree with you on that. ND's defense made an average QB like Paul Peterson look like Joe Montana in his prime with the 49ers. Also, Purdue has lost to wisconsin, michigan and northwestern. Notre Dame is not as good as any of those teams at this point. Another question would be could Notre Dame beat Michigan or Michigan State right now. I say no. Hopefully this season will end with ty being fired and Notre Dame getting an actual coach who CAN BRING THEM BACK. Urban Meyer is my choice. Somebody is going to snatch him up, hopefully it will be the Irish. |

Notre Dames pass coverage is pathetic. As good as are front seven is Orton is mobile enough to elude the pass rush and find open receivers, which isn't hard againt this ND secondary. |
