Oh my Lord is KCal bad. Channel 13 too. I can't even watch Dodger games when they are 13, it's so bad. And then I feel like a tool because i sound like a USC elitist prick. But damn, the screen is that bad.

My friend got the NFL Ticket, so we watched the games this Sunday. However, he got screwed because they didn't give him the HD package, so the games were AWFUL to look at in comparison to the Fox and CBS games on local TV. We ended up watching those games for the most part; it makes that much of a difference.

But the best part? Erin Andrews in HD. Always worth it...

tell your friend to call them up and say that he's been a loyal customer and they'll most likely just give him the HD package for free.

They are given a lot of room to work with people. I complained about paying 200.00 for a new HD DVR and told them I have been a loyal customer, and that I do have other options, and they gave it to me for 50.00.

has anyone else noticed on the hd games on nbc that when they switch cameras, i see it just about every time they go from a replay back to live action that the picture gets grainy for a second then goes back to good hd quality? i have noticed this in 2 separate cable systems over the past 2 years, it only happens during nd games too. i know the alloted bandwidth is enough on the cable companies side as well i can do that but am concerned about the feed which would show on everyones hd.

I have never seen a game in HD, I have a 52 inch HD TV but can't get HD with my provider because of the location where I live.(mountains in the sticks) I guess my question is how good is HD really? In the event that I moved would it be worth it to get it installed?

I have trouble watching any sporting event on standard definition after having HD for over a year now. There is a noticeable difference in most television shows and movies, but there is a MAJOR difference in sporting events.

Questions for those in southern California...what channel is the ND / UNC game going to be on this weekend? Couldn't find it on my directv guide and I'm hoping that we're not getting screwed out of the game here on the left coast.
