Creatine isn't bad, it puts water in your muscles. I know high school kids use steroids, I know a few myself. But I know what steroids looks like on a person typically, and to be honest, some of the fatter lineman all you have to do is look at their moobs. You'll see gynecomastia.

I should have elaborated a bit more on the creatine comment: I weighed 250 lbs. when I was in high school. If I would have used creatine, I would have packed on 20 more pounds that would've been a bitch to shed. I'm 6'3'' 205 lbs. now but it wasn't easy to get here from where I was. I'm afraid that any more weight would've screwed up my knees.

I agree with most that was said but (3) letters that are the leading cause of all the increase in size...HGH!!! I live in a small town and it is being used like crazy from HS all the way up to guys my age wanting to get that advantage in the weight room. my buddy took a 10 week cycle and added 20 pounds of muscle and increase his bench by 65 pounds....the side effect are mild and it does not show up on drug tests. Creatine, Protein, NO Boosters, and other test boosters are all over the place. I am 6'1 220 and workout 4-5 times a week and have never used anyhing illegal but damn is it tempting!
