"Washington Redskins second-round draft pick Fred Davis did not show up for minicamp practice Sunday, having overslept on just his third day in the NFL. Davis was the 48th overall pick out of Southern California in last weekend's draft."

Ha, I guess he struggled passing his ALARM CLOCK 101 CLASS @ U$C! Plus, he no longer has the Poodle 'wake up service' available, so I guess this shouldn't be a shock to everyone!

Wow, you have a chance to play in the NFL and you don't even show up the third day. I know he is a second round pick, but come on.

Nothing. He'll be taken care of (protected) because he was a 2nd round pick.
