Those kinds of passes are completely independent of who you play, as long as Jimmy can consistantly throw the ball like that, it won't matter who we play whether it is USC or Duke, those throws will end up with scores. |

All of the opinions given by C2K were backed up with a factual example of things he did during the game. He played today like a freshman QB. Made some rookie mistakes and bad decisions. But overall, the time off helped him improve from his first few starts. I think the analysis C2K gave is pretty accurate from the Airforce game and aside from the few big mistakes he made today, he is learning and doing better. I'm not saying you can't feel the way you do, but your post in the other thread implied opinions by people that I don't think were actually shared. But i think most people's expectations were lowered once he got on the field, prior to the Airforce game. He showed improvement and did some things that show he has potential to be great. But yes, he's still playing like a freshman. If people still have overly high opinions of him (i.e. someone is in fact calling him a genius) then her criticism is legit. I just don't recall too many people going that far. |
