Cash: 14.68Bank: 0.53 Total Bankroll: 15.21 Donate  | Ridiculously early basketball rankings Sorry to switch gears from all of the football talk, but Gary Parrish, from CBS, wrote his ridiculously early top 25 for next year's basketball season and he has the Irish ranked #5. Big East looks like it is going to be extremely tough again with Louisville ranked #2, UCONN #3, ND #5, Pitt #8, Marquette #14, G-Town #15, Nova #16 and Syracuse and West Virginia just out of the top 25. I really can't wait for football season, but basketball season will be fun next year too!!! I was thinking more in the range of #15-#17. Thats a bit too high. We will be good I think but not THAT good. The Big East is way too tough a conference but I guess we shall see. I would rather we not be ranked period. I love flying under the radar just like in football.

I don't know too much about their roster but if I could remember a defensive big guy was needed. I may be wrong and thinking of a different team. But other than that ND will be very good. Everyone comes back I believe. #5-#10 type of a ranking is good for them. UConn is ranked too high IMO. They haven't proved anything in the last 3 years except that they choke in big games... Plus UCONN don't have a go to player still... |
