Two Huge Halftimes This Week in Men's Basketball

We have two huge halftimes coming up this week for lovers of Notre Dame basketball history. First, on Thursday, we will be honoring one of the all-time greats in Notre Dame basketball history - leading scorer Austin Carr. Austin still holds the all-time high score in the NCAA Tournament at 63. Then, at halftime of the Syracuse game on Sunday (2 pm on CBS), we will honor Notre Dame's best team, the 1978 Final Four Team. Digger will be there as well as many of the team.

I only caught a glimpse of tonight's halftime honoring Austin Carr. He looked truly touched. A great moment, for an all-time Irish great!
