ND over Providence

The Irish got a nice win tonight. This was definitely very key for the tournament. But why can't we close out games?

But it was nice to see Carter heat up in the second half. Does anyone with more medical knowledge than I know exactly what a hip flexor is? I think I have a basic idea, but any details would be nice.

With that win, ND becomes one of only 11 programs with 1600 or more wins. We also are in the top 20 in winning percentage. I think we sometimes forget how, over time, ND has been a pretty competitive program.

I think the hip flexor is the muscle and tissue around the outside of the hip. Every movement of the leg becomes extremely painful.

yes, the success of the program really is overshadowed by the success of that one other program... when they had that 100 year celebration, and I saw some of the stats and were ND stood all-time, I was really suprised.

and we're still undefeated at home.

also, thanks for the link. I guess I could have looked that up myself... shame on me. but that sounds like a very aggravating injury to have. I don't think those "two-a-days" would help that much. I'm hoping and assuming he sat out some of that.

to pull a hip flexor makes it kill to run. Ive pulled my right and my left both in soccer and it hurts. Stretching and ice is all you can do. All i know is in soccer its not a good injury to get in the middle of preseason

ND does seem to have problems at the end of games when they are getting pressured. I wonder how well ND would play against a team that pressed all game. Good win, hopefully a few more so I can watch them play in the big dance.
