Series (Fort Wayne News-Sentinel) The Northwest Baseball Academy Lightning finished 2-3 last week at the Sandy Koufax World Series in Battle Creek, Mich. The squad was 10-15 halfway through the season but rallied to finish 25-20 and finish third in the state tournament. During the World Series, Kyle Vollenweider had 14 hits, including five triples and three doubles, and pitcher Tanner Crandall won both of his games. Link To Original Article
