*chuckles* So Lou left "baggage" at USC, huh? Everyone seems to forget WHY Lou had trouble with the NCAA, at South Carolina. For getting athletes extra tutoring sessions (more than were allowed). I mean, heaven forbid he try to help them LEARN. Isn't that what going to college is all about? Shame on you, Lou.

Looking at the enitrety of Lou's history, he is one of the classiest coaches to have coached in the modern era. On top of that, he was successful.

The allegations of violations at Arkansas and SoCarolina were more a reflection of the fact those are SEC schools than anything Lou did or didn't do. The SEC epitomizes what is wrong with college football: success at the expenses of education. Ride the backs of their athletes to the bank.
