Everyone seems to forget WHY Lou had trouble with the NCAA, at South Carolina. For getting athletes extra tutoring sessions (more than were allowed). I mean, heaven forbid he try to help them LEARN. On top of that, he was successful. The allegations of violations at Arkansas and SoCarolina were more a reflection of the fact those are SEC schools than anything Lou did or didn't do. The SEC epitomizes what is wrong with college football: success at the expenses of education. Ride the backs of their athletes to the bank. |
