The set up is as follows, 16 regionals (1 seed in each is the host) with 4 teams each, the winner of each regional goes to the national tournament in Tulsa.

The men finished off the regular season with a record of 16-10 and won the Big East crown.

The men head to Columbus with
#2 overall seed Ohio State
East Tennessee State (ND's first opponent)
Cleveland State

The women finished off the regular season with a record of 21-6 and won the Big East crown.

The women head to Miami Florida with
#12 overall seed Miami
Florida International (ND's first opponent)
Quinnipiac
