If we get 3 points out of the last 3 games, the worst we can do is tie with Washington (assuming they win their last 3). Washington gets to play scrubs in their shitty division for their final 3. Think Washington would get the spot on the wins tiebreaker. So realistically, we need 4 points in 3 games. Flyers need to take care of business and not worry about what Washington or Buffalo are doing. Win and yer in, end of story. Buffalo has a game in hand but I don't know if they can make up 5 points assuming they get 2 from their in-hand game (which looks like it's being played today vs Boston).
Really sets up what could be a whopper of a final game against Pitt next Sunday at home. And it's gotta be an afternoon game. Just great.
BTW - Don't get too cocky there Sonny Jim, the huns are moving up on ya with a game in hand. One slip and 1st place in the Patrick division (:D) is gonna be a down to the last game race.
