| Let's not forget the "rip off Notre Dame" factor as far as seeding. Time has shown that, many times, we get a lower seed than we deserve. As of now, I think we deserve a #4 seed with the possibility of raising to a #3. But, the committee will probably hand us a #5. And, as usual, no one at Notre Dame will make a sound about being cheated. I really think Notre Dame needs to open it's mouth when an injustice to them happens. But, instead, we always act like we are rising above it, which is foolish.
Next season, we have a couple of Notre Dame connections on the committee. That might help, immensely. Right now, Ohio State AD Gene Smith is on the committee. He is a Notre Dame grad. Let's hope he gets his two cents in this season regarding our seeding. |
