Second, his b-ball coaches need to keep his head in the game. I played point guard at my high school, which also happened to be in the WPIAL (same as Pryor's), but my high school was in the smallest division...or else I wouldn't have made the team! But that's beside the point. Even at those games of smallest consequences there was always trash-talking coming from the opponents' fans and you could hear nearly everything that was being said. It happens, live with it. His coaches need to have this converstation with him and he needs to channel those comments from the crowd into motivation...not retaliation.
I'd feel bad for the kid if he didn't ask for all the media attention by making an announcement to not commit anywhere. If you think you're that big of a deal, you better act like you're that big of a deal. That being said, I don't wish anything bad on the kid - he's a kid and kid's do dumb things. It's part of growing up. He hasn't done anything of consequence to this point that warrants any type of perceived "justice" in my eyes. Let the kid live his life and make his own decisions and we'll all be better off for it. |
I think he is the one who keeps the media going... why would you set up a press conference to announce he has not decided yet instead of just releasing a statement... I dont know the kid but I have yet to hear a thing about him that tells me he is anything but an attention monger... I hope I am wrong because he is way to young to be that big of a tool ....
