| I am pretty familiar with the Scranton area because my mom's family is from Scranton. I can tell you this much without even having seen his film. West Scranton, along with teams like Erie Prep and Pittsburgh Central Catholic, are always in the district and state mix.
And West Scranton has 1300 kids, which means they play the highest level of competition in PA (AAAA). Pryor is a great player and will do well at the next level, but his competition, especially in football because of numbers in AA, is night and day compared to AAAA. Shrive plays against real good schools, lost two close games last year. The fact that he doesn't like PSU and lives in Scranton puts a big smile on my face. |
