| With the crazy nature of recruiting, it's absolutely ludicrous to deal in absolutes. I have to laugh when people say "This kid is NOT coming!" or "This kid is a so-and-so LOCK!!!"... It's really ridiculous, and I don't know why people continually stick their necks out by saying stuff like this.
The fact is, even if there's inside info, nobody but the kid is sure of where he's going, and often times even the kids aren't sure.
Quit pretending like you know more than others or have some innate ability to tell where a kid is going or isn't going. These kids change their minds constantly.
And that is the only really "lock" there is in recruiting. |
