He is so much like Vince Young in that he is a long strider and while running quickly doesn't look like he is even trying. (No need to get your hackles up just because you want to get the guy - he is talented). But he sure is not Pat White. I don't think someone who is 6-6 is going to weather running 20 times a game against good defenses. He can do a lot with his legs but that kind of running takes a toll on your body, and I think he would end up injured if you tried to fit him into that system. I'm not trying to knock the guy - he has serious potential. Just not as much trying to make him into White. |
