With Cincinnati, Indiana, Michigan State, and Northwestern as his only offers why is Notre Dame going after this guy? Makes me worry were losing out on Lalota or Bonds. Don't get me wrong, if the kid is worthy great, but why are we just now hearing about him?

they also prioritize and as the first wave of offerees wane in there interest, they look to the next guys on their board. i don't think it's any secret or surprise that DE Kennard and DT Adams were never seriously considering ND. as for Lalota and Bonds, i don't think you can read into what the coaches are doing. They have to recruit until NSD. until a recruit gives a verbal, they have to keep pursuing all options. What would happen if they just pursued Lalota and Bonds and one or both decided to go elsewhere. If you haven't kept contact with other guys, the likelihood that you can start calling in Nov, Dec or january and get serious consideration is extremely low. | |
