Plantation, Florida superstar Brandon McGee has been listing Ohio State as one of his favorites since his April visit. Since then he has visited Miami and has also received several new offers. Is Ohio State still leading for McGee? Bill Greene has the latest.

Brandon McGee, of Plantation [Fla.], might be the most electrifying prospect on the Ohio State recruiting radar. McGee who stars on both sides of the football is being recruited by most schools as a defensive back, but some schools are telling him he could possibly play both ways in college. McGee's offer list reads like the AP weekly Top-20. He has offers from Ohio State, USC, Florida, Notre Dame, Michigan, and many others.

"Recruiting is going great for me right now," McGee said. "Since the last time we spoke I have received offers from Ole Miss, USC, Wake Forest and North Carolina. I took an unofficial visit to Miami. It was cool being around the coaching staff and meeting a lot of the players. I know some of the players at Miami and we had a good time. I haven't ruled anybody out yet at all. I need to narrow my list down over the next few weeks."

McGee spoke about some of the schools he has offers from and mentioned what he specifically liked about each one.

"I like Notre Dame a lot and I'm interested in them," he stated. "I like the academic reputation of Notre Dame and I know the value of their degree. I think they can rebuild that program pretty fast. They need to have a class this year like they had in 2008. I like Ole Miss too, mostly because of their new coach. Houston Nutt was at Arkansas and did a good job there. He's talked to me about starting at cornerback, but also playing at quarterback in some certain situations. Kind of like Darren McFadden did in the "wild hog" formation. I want to play both ways in college, so that sounds good to me. I like North Carolina because they have an interesting depth chart at corner. Butch Davis is well known in the Miami area and he knows about putting players in the league. I think I could perfect my skills under a coach like Butch Davis."

McGee is also planning on taking more unofficial visits this summer. He is not ready to name a clear-cut leader until he sees more of what the different schools have to offer.

"I want to check out some of the Southern schools like North Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee and Florida State," he said. "I have an offer from Southern Cal and they're a great program. They're not real deep at corner and that's a school I'm very interested in. They have a player from Tallahassee on their roster, so I'm interested in seeing why a Florida boy would go all the way to California. I'm actually thinking about taking my official visit to USC to see the Ohio State game. Ohio State was one of my earliest favorite schools so it will be great to see those two teams play."

Speaking of Ohio State, McGee discussed where the Buckeyes currently stand with him.

"Ohio State is still a program that stands out to me," McGee admitted. "I had a great visit to Ohio State. I need to see some other schools to compare to them. I've kind of calmed down after a few weeks have gone by, but I still consider Ohio State one of my top schools I'm interested in. I will take an official visit to Ohio State in the fall, maybe to the Michigan game. I still think the Ohio State coaching staff is great and I loved the atmosphere in Columbus."

McGee has toyed with the idea of graduating early from high school and enrolling in the winter to his college of choice.

"I'm set up to graduate early, but I'm not sure if I'm going to do that," McGee said. "I went ahead and took care of that with my high school and I have the option of graduating early. I just need to decide of that's what I really want to do, or not. Right now I'm thinking I might want to stay and finish out my year. If I end up graduating early I will make my decision right after the season. If I end up staying the whole time, then I will decide either on signing day or at the Army All-American game."
