Either way, two things are certain. He did not commit to OSU this past weekend, and another OSU recruit, Justin Green, did. So OSU is now at 20 commits so far and it looks like nearly every position will be closing pretty quick, since they obviously want to keep spots open for the top top guys that will decide closer to NSD. He spent most of the time with the incoming freshman, who he got along very well with. It wasn't just fun and games though, the guys he spent the weekend with put on the full-court press. Specifically, his good friend Robert Blanton and 2009 commitment Tyler Stockton were the ones talking him up the most. More good news from the visit, his parents were with him and came away very impressed. It's always helpful when the parents can back ND up. |
