Still cant believe scout has yet to move him up from his 3star status to a 4 star...has been playing liking a beast every game his senior year thus far.

the recruiting sites will keep his ranking down as long as possible given that he is a ND verbal. it comes with the territory.

they do tend to devalue ND commits, but recruits who have committed usually dont move around very much. once the spotlight is off, the sites dont lose any sleep watching extra tape on those guys. i dont blame them either. if a guy gives a solid commit, why evaluate whether to move him. their job is to maintain a completely arbitrary concept anyway. i dont expect them to take it so seriously that everyone should be rated appropriately bc its not realistic. ratings mean nothing. even the nfl draft doesnt mean anything, except contract wise. it's all hype and hype don't mean shit.

The thing thats kinda weird to me is scout is generally a little more pro ND than rivals is, but scout is the one listing him as a 3 star....scout alot of time actually seems a little notre dame biased. I know the ratings dont generally mean much but those people do know a little something about a recruits potential, VHT recruits generally pan out much better in college than recruits that arent as highly touted. I know there are exceptions to this, but it is an imperfect system just like anything else.

ScrantonIrish is on a distinguished road

Although I think ESPN is the worst of all the rankings, they have him in their top 150.

Espn doesnt have the best rankings, but i have to give them credit that they seem to base much of their rankings on pure speed. Nice to see EJ made the list just based on that category.
