The first word of his commitment to the Irish was reported around the same time Ohio State offered Sam Longo and pulled Watt's offer. FWIW, it sounds like Watt's commitment to us predates Ohio State's decision. |

There are only a couple of reasons (trouble with law, grades, lack of interest) why any school, in this case Ohio St. would pull an offer extended to a kid rated so highly (#2) Although, it can be painful for us rabid fans to wait for announcements, I tend to believe that some kids are making their decisions privately, then "seeing how it feels after waking up in the morning". Keeping a decision rather silent for a short period seems intelligent and mature to me. Welcome to ND Chris! |
