| Blue Chip Recruit | Why such negative reactions up there? Think about it for a second - if Weis talked to him (and since he is who he is, I'm sure he did) then what would he say to him? - Talk about the school/program - What role he would play in all of that - Goals between now and potentially playing at ND - AND about recruiting and the 'new ND' recruiting and how that all goes My point here is that most likely Charles told him that recruiting is like a marriage thing, and that even if he really likes ND he had better shop around because once he commits, it is final. So it would seem that he is probably taking that advice to heart and checking out a bunch of other schools. Would you really want another Omar Hunter? Let the kid look at 500 schools if he likes - if it means he ends up happy at ND, then great. |

He never said he was thinking of committing to ND early, that was just a bunch of fan speculation because they're getting a Chicken Little complex.
