'09 SC DE Chris Bonds (Alabama Verbal)

I stand corrected if I am wrong. I have heard nothing about Chris Bonds taking visits anywhere this Fall.

SoCal, have you heard who the four silents are for SC? Maybe I can get excited about Chris Bonds. SC sells the Southern California party life and prep for the NFL well.

Florida
S.Carolina
Miami
Tennessee
Michigan

... So. Cal. not on this list.

I don't know whether he has them scheduled. last i read he said he was going to take his officials during the fall.

no, i don't have any idea who that might be or whether they have four.

i wouldn't get excited about Bonds. if he visits, then it opens him up as a possiblity. but until then it may just be typical lip-service that seems to happen so often in recruiting these days.

early on he was high on South Carolina. Then he visited Southern Cal (I think) and became enamored with them. i believe he said if he leaves the state it's most likely Southern Cal and the only team he would consider in state would be SoCarolina. i could be mistaken though.

also, if you're going off the schools of interest listed here, those are rarely updates; it's just too hard to stay on top of that. if you're going off schools of interest in a recruiting site profile, those are updated slightly more frequently than we update here.

Bonds said he’s considering seven schools: UT, South Carolina, Alabama, Southern Cal, Michigan, Notre Dame and Miami.

Bonds said he hopes to trim his list soon, something he’s already attempted.

“Every time I try I always find things about a school I trimmed that I like,” he said. “I’m stuck at seven now.

Back in March he said he'd probably give us an official.

I think we have a shot w the official visit, if he sticks w his stated plan. What I have noticed w many recruits over the last 2 recruiting cycles is how time changes their thoughts.

What I mean is, it is just as important when a recruit said something as what he says about a school. I have read several times over several recruits that they were going to do one thing because someone is referring to a statement made in the spring that is OBE.
