He may very well end up at BYU. If he does I think the fact that he has family members there will be a very small factor.

Unlike his other family members in CFB, Manti is being recruited nationally by the top D-1 schools. That was not true about all his family members currently at BYU.

Again, he may still end up there. It's also possible that even if he signs with someone else for 2009, that after he returns from his mission that he ends up transfering to BYU.

I just hope he doesnt go to USC, really thats all i want. If ND cant have him, then i hope he goes to BYU.

yeah i agree with that one. not usc, but ill take byu if it isnt us

I hope he chooses whatever is best for him and not because he is pressured into any situation for education/money, etc... If ND is the best fit, then that is great! If not, I wish him the best

If he feels that USC is best for him then he is obviously not a character player, and certianly not a leader I would be looking for on ND's team
