Seriously wondering why we are worrying about QBs....i mean, we have two great ones the past 2 yrs, if we offer someone it should just be a role player that knows they wont get much PT and wont transfer. This guy may do that, but idk why he wouldnt go to another school where he could get PT. Just my own opinion again, but why not try to spend a scholly on another solid Olineman?

I think Brehaut is the better QB myself, but Budmayr is pretty solid in his own right.

Wanting more solid linemen every year is fine, IrishAddiction, but if you are building an elite program every year, it is imperative to have a quality QB in every class. None of us know which kid is the next star or a total bust. In my opinion, it is not only important to get kids quality kids who should excel in your system, but a national program needs a quantity of these players to protect itself from disaster (example: UCLA vs. ND last year...starter gets hurt and a walk-on has to take over).

A. 6-0/195 is minimum size for an NFL QB.

B. He plays against very good competition in the Suburban Catholic Conference, as did Cwynar, though the schools are smaller than Chicago Catholic League schools. The quality of football is real good.

C. Guided MCC as a sophomore to a 13-1 and state runner up season.
