I think a lot of us thought he was OSU bound, so did I, but when he has his only official visit scheduled during the USC game...you know he's going to commit.

I'm not really shocked that he commited to ND, but I'm a little shocked that he did it this weekend. I had heard things were looking up with Floyd and that he was seen having a really good time with RJ Blanton and his family as I had posted in the members forum last night, but I'm still suprised that he pulled the trigger so soon after such a poor offensive performance yesterday. You have to love this quote by Floyd, "I'm going to help them bring this back and I'm going to get a great degree.".

He sounds like a quality guy....same as Blanton family, Stewart family, Cave, etc....

That's awesome. Congrats to Michael Floyd for making his decision and congrats to us for getting an incredible athlete and from what I have heard and read a great human being.
