Anyways, the dual visit thing is pretty promising for ND's odds. Considering the way some of the other schools are recruiting, its starting to appear that it'll be ND, Minnesota, and UF as the top competitors. Ohio State only has somewhere around 5 spots left for their class, and already has at least one WR (two if Stoneburner plays WR as well). Michigan is putting more of their eggs in the baskets of Jonathan Baldwin, Darryl Stonum, and Vaughn Carraway. Not to say that situation could change, but I think they were scared off by the early interest in ND from Floyd, and hitched their wagons with other recruits. Minnesota was going after Floyd no matter what, and Florida... well, we know why they would've wanted to offer a kid ND did... I still think that Floyd ends up Irish. We would have had him had Buckner not been swept away by Texas at the last minute, and I still think we've got enough going for us to get him in the fold. | |

He competed in camps last year, so he's already got as much out of the camping experience as he probably ever will. He's got a list of suitors he's happy with, so there isn't any pressing need to "impress" the coaching staffs he's visiting at these camps. |

Some interesting things in this one. Doesn't sound like he'd be planning to verbal some time this summer, but its nice to see that we are the only school that has an official scheduled with him. Its a pretty nice article. |
