But it would hurt TREMENDOUSLY if UM beat us out for Floyd's, especially after we've been linked to him for so long. I'm not going to gloat about Hunter, because it could come back and bite us in the ass later this year. |

Katz, I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that the UM you are talking about is no worry at all for ND, it's the UM that is further west that we should be concerned with, that, and the potential effect of a Gainesville bbq. | |

I'd maybe flip the order around a bit, but I think those are the others that attract him. I still feel pretty confident though. Needless to say though it'll be nerve racking if he doesn't decide before his senior year. |

He's taking tour of to various schools between June 20th and June 27th. He's going to Wisconsin followed by ND, UM, OSU. Here is the catch though after those visits he is coming BACK to ND for ANOTHER visit. He has a visit to Florida on July 20th so I don't like that. If he is making two trips to ND during this tour could he end his recruitment? or will he go to Gainesville and attend BBQ's and be told "It's cold in South Bend"...Floyds response would be "But Urban, I'm from MinneSNOWta I'm used to the cold".........Urbans response....."See the brown bag over there...don't ask what's in it, it's yours." |

| Waterboy | His visit to Florida is for "Friday Night Lights." My understanding is that FNL is a big combine where a lot of the nation's top players go, and also receive tours of UF before or after the camp. Floyd might be going more to test his ability against some of the south's top prospects and not just to visit the Gators. I may be off on this, but that is my take. I wouldnt expect a commit from him on his second trip to ND, but I wouldnt rule it out just because he has a visit to Friday Night Lights on tap. |
