I posted in recruiting general section about wide receivers. If I were Floyd I would end this soon, there is too much opprutunity to play with great quaterbacks and under CW. I really have a feeling Robinson is going to get offered after camp.

I still have absolutely no idea why everyone is so worried about lil' old Minnesota I think they have no chance. Cretin is the biggest ND pipeline and we're his favorite and have been forever. Even when it was in doubt a month ago he came out and said we were #1 and he would love to play for Coach Weis. Cool your jets it's June 1st tomorrow and he's elite give it time.

Because they're Homestate U. for Michael, several of his teamates will be going there, and their new head coach is one of the best recruiters ever. I still wouldn't count out Michigan or Ohio State either.

---------Old article from January, but I'm bored and has some comments from Mikes dad about the hiring of Brewster.....

“I watch a lot of football and I’ve seen him on the sidelines when Denver was on TV,” Floyd said. “He seems like a pretty good guy."

“I wish him all the luck. He has to come into a new situation. He has a lot of credentials, being with Denver and everything. Like I said I wish him all the luck. He has a hard road ahead of him.”

--------------A hard road ahead of him? Doesn't sound like he would want to be sending his kid to a school he thinks has an uphill battle.

The reasoning makes sense to me. Here's how I understood it.

1) Early on, Floyd was said to be heavily leaning toward Notre Dame.
2) He didn't pull the trigger because he wanted to check out his options.
3) The more options he checks out and still doesn't commit to ND, seems more likely that he just isn't finding what he needs at ND.

That being said, I think Floyd really wants to do some summer camps and take his official visits. If we get to October and he still hasn't pulled the trigger THEN I'll start to worry more.

Good luck to the kid. Enjoy the process.

peteinsouthbend is on a distinguished road

It's not like he's just said to be a lean. He said in an interview on another team's scout site that Notre Dame leads and he loves what coach Weis is doing. You guys are just being too damn impatient. Just because a kid doesn't decide immediately doesn't mean he's cooled on ND. That's like saying Jamoris Slaughter is cooling on ND because it's been a few days since he said ND leads and he still hasn't committed. You guys just need to quit spazzing out.

Brewster one of the best recruiters ever? That might be overstating it. I think he would still have something to prove on that front.
