He's probably saying, "It's too good to be true for #10 on my list! No, they'd never want little old me."

The only school that worries me at this point is Florida. Miami is sending him just about as much love as ND is, but they're still on the rebound. But whenever a National Champion knocks on a kid's door, that tends to change their mindset.

I think you are dead on with Florida, and Floyd is one of the guys who His Majesty would probably be willing to allow to commit to the Gators if he called today and said I'm in. Fortunately, for ND, Floyd seems adamant about waiting until at least the AAA game to commit, and it also appears that he will be visiting the Swamp in August, when the bar-b-q's are even a bit too hot. IMO, ND will hold a schollie for Floyd, I'm hoping that Urban won't or in the long run, it won't matter to Floyd if he does.

O$U concerns me some too, as does Myth-again, but not as much a O$U or Florida. I wouldn't totally dismiss Minnesota either, they are homestate U. for Floyd, and their new head coach is a great recruiter.

GG- no doubt that Michigan, Minnesota, and OSU are all in the mix. I am just hoping that OSU is not equal with Florida and ND here, because ND's track record when competing for recruits who are really interested in both OSU & Florida has not been too hot recently. There seems to be a certain logic to the fact that if a recruit is really interested in schools with programs that are run like OSU & Florida (you can add the Poodle's program to the mix as well), how can they really be also interested in a program like ND's which is run the polar opposite.

He loves ND and all of the big time players from his school come here, I feel confident that after Floridas demise and burial in the SEC this year he won't be feeling the affects of the national championship bullshit anymore.

Because they are all big time winning programs that get a lot of media attention. You have to try to look at it from the mind of a Jr. or Sr. male in high school. The maturing of one's mind greatly cahnges from 17-21 to 22-25/30.
