If he de-commited from NE, then commited to ND a month or two ago, but became unsure again and then commited elsehwere, I know even the most gracious of us may not have taken it very well. And we've all talked about how we don't want to be like other schools who trash recruits who chose other schools, or even choose ND then de-commit and go elsehwere. Not to mention the ripple affect de-commitments can sometimes have on further recruiting. So a solid commitment now is much better than a soft, or uncertain commitment months ago. I think he was very wise in waiting until he felt 100% ready. For his sake, and ours! | |
