IUB on GH has the info on the clarification about Trev. not being a de-commit. Look at Trev's thread.

I listened to Jeremy Crabtree on Rivals radio and I didn't hear anything about Trevor being decommitted. About that article, the Nebraska coaches could have told that kid that Trevor decommitted because they want the kid to stay interested. If Trevor decommits maybe they want a back-up plan. I'm not sold on the decommitment just yet because I'm hearing conflicting stories all over the place.

Both would be good, but Robinson is the better player, and this is coming from a huge fan of Kenneth Page. Before the Trevor thing popped up, I very much wanted Kenneth to be our last OLineman.

That said, ND and NU offered Trevor September 1st - aka Day 1. When two different programs do that - one that works as hard as ND on a national scale, and the other that's the home state school - that sends a big signal to the rest of the country to back off. Kids from Nebraska just don't get offered at the same clip kids from the Carolinas do - its just how SEC recruiting goes. So in this specific instance, I don't read much into the "better offer list" thing.

I think Trevor & Co. have strained their relationship with NU and their coaching staff... we'll see how the dust settles, but I'm not so sure they can ever go home again. But it is too early to tell.

If Trevor severed his relationship with Nebraska then why did the offensive line coach panic and arrange to meet Trevor Sunday night, July 15th, when Trevor returned from his visits? Nebraska is pulling out all stops (within reason) to get Trevor to recommit to Nebraska. The coaches are doing their best to convince Trevor and his family that the academics at Nebraska are the same as Notre Dame's.

NU will have to lay off Trevor, but they want him very badly. This is Trevor's decision. I just hope that if he decides to commit to ND, the U of Nebraska fans realize the opportunity Trevor has and support him! I hope they realize that he still a Nebraskan and that he will represent the State of Nebraska well at Notre Dame. Nebraskans should be proud of Trevor! They don't loose Trevor to another State School. They send Trevor to a genuine national University that represents the country, the only powerhouse to play a national schedule, play the academies, and plays in honor of the Blessed Mother.

What's another 500 miles (to SB as opposed to Lincoln), he'll be too busy w/ school work and football to worry about how far home is away! Come on Trevor, join the ND nation!
