OK here's the news from the visit, Apparently his father was so gung ho about getting his kid to ND, he called ahead and hired a hypnotist to sit behind Charlie during their meeting. By the end of the meeting, he had commited to the Irish, was clucking like a chicken whenever someone coughed and he will never pick up a cigarette in his life.

Just to make sure, his father took the leftover hypnotist money and hired farmers all over Nebraska to cut giant interlocking ND's into their fields for Trev to see as they flew home. Of course being NU fans, the farmers refused, until Harrison Smith's father (no stranger to forcing his kid to ND) held them up at gunpoint Jimmy Clausen's dad used the harvester to carve the NDs.

Damned meddling parents.

Big Willie, there isn't anything wrong with Trevor's dad being involved in his recruitment. There is something wrong with you saying that he's forcing Trevor to go to ND. That's NOT true. Trevor is the one making the decision.

Once again, many of us will need more verification of this than some Husker fan saying it repeatedly.

He flew the plane.

Oh, and I forgot one thing. While they were at a South Bend restaurant, Trev tried to order the steak. His dad got his head in a scissorlock until he agreed to order the salmon. I understand Trevor was not happy about being told what to do. I was told this by the server at the restaurant. I know it's hard to believe, but the server told me he's a lifelong Husker fan so he has to be close to the situation.
