I wouldn't be surprised if he stays at NU. I wouldn't be surprised if he comes to ND. I would be surprised as hell if he became a skunkbear. Anyway, if he stays, fine, if he goes, great, but until the weekend is over, no sense in worrying to much about it.

Go Irish!!!

Much like the NC title they split with the skunkbears in 97'. If not for Dr. Tom, and his retirement going away gift, UM would have had a full NC in 97', instead they settle for a half, which by the way is totally fine with me. I think I hate them more than Southern Cal.

So I just read a post on the NU free Scout board saying that Charlie pestered Chris Galippo up until signing day...

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't the entire reason Galippo committed so early to USC because Weis basically ignored him at camps?

I like Nebraska. They're old school prestige football. They have great tradition and a great fanbase who knows their football and usually appreciates a good fight from the opponent. So, I will not attack willie or the Huskers.

However, opposing fans always blame the parents when a hometown kid shuns them for the Irish. Believe me, willie. We've heard it many times. Last year's version was Harrison Smith with Tennessee. We hear it pretty much yearly.

We also hear yearly "lifelong fan of ..." Well, right now we have two lifelong Michigan fans among our committed. Granted, they are not from Michigan, but they are self admitted lifelong fans who now that their own futures and careers are on the line, decided to go with ND for their own reasons. It's not always about what you bled when you were 8. Sometimes it's about what you want to bleed until you are 80.

So if he switches to ND, blame Daddy if it makes you feel better. Other fans do it. Our excuse to make us feel better when we lose a guy is usually academics or somesuch. We all have them.

Now, ND got bit on 5 recruits that we know of last year that supposedly had committed to Weis at some point. Two of those on signing day. So the coaches are a little gun shy. Do you think they'd fill our final O-line spot with a kid who doesn't want to be here, or who is doing it only for daddy with the chance that he could change daddy's mind?

But if it makes you feel better....

Now, good luck this year with or without TR. Beat USC.

When I present the facts, you get your panties in a wad and go from there. And why? Because you can't refute any single one of those facts, except with senseless jabs.

But let me start a rumor mongering thread about ND on a Nebraska board just to see how long it takes before an ND poster invades. The only difference would be, they wouldn't try to be sensible about having a discussion like I tried to do with the 'posters' of this forum.
Willie, you are a funny guy. You come over here to troll a bit, and you expect to be treated with respect after posting something that if you really knew anything about the situation in Lincoln you would know is BS. So you either are clueless or trolling, in either case you do not deserve our respect.

Do not use a quote from me and talk about rumors about Leslie & Givens since the only subject I talked about was Trev. My panties are not in a wad because I know for a fact that your supposed facts about Trev's dad forcing him to de-commit are complete and total BS. As for me going to a Husker forum to discuss anything, I would not waste my time, which is what you are doing here. Again CYA.

Let me ask you a question --

If Nebraska were to recruit a player from Indiana, deep in the heart of Irish country where MANY Irish fans talked to the recruits family, friends and the recruit himself -- would you believe Husker fans rumors about what this kid may be thinking?

People from Nebraska have access to people all around this kid and have not been afraid to ask what is going on.

How many times do I have to say -- people on the Nebraska board have talked with people all around Trevor. Geez ... how many times does that have to be repeated?

Yes, he was quoted in an article about being pissed off that he didn't get enough attention at one of the junior days.
