Urban tried to go after Ian very, very hard at the end and at one point during th evening he had decided that he was going to switch, but he called his older brother or mentor, I can't remember exactly who it was now, and he told Ian that he made a commitment and to keep his word. It actually got to the point where schools like LSU and Auburn were calling him and bashing ND and telling him to go to UF.

Goshen... I don't understand. Why would LSU and Auburn bash ND ob behalf of UF and want him to attend UF? I'm not denying it... but I just don't get it. They play each other... why would they help out?

Because they hate ND more and they don't want to consistantly lose their southern talent to northern schools.
