cut Tate some slack, it takes a long time to learn Weis' offense. Tate reminds me of Teddy Ginn Jin

I think there is room for all of these receivers in the line-up. I see kamara and walker/floyd on the outside with tate and walker/floyd in the slots in a 4-wide set. With all of these weapons weis will be able to do a lot of things with the offense. Watching LSU splitting 4 and 5 out wide against Ohio State I couldn't help but think that is gonna be ND (only ND will be even better) very soon. Ohio State's defense couldn't contain all of those skill players and I have a feeling that there are gonna be a lot of defenses having the same trouble with ND. Especially when you mix a 6'6" TE, a 6'8" TE, and a stable of RBs into the equation.

I don't think Tate is another Ginn because Ginn couldn't take a hit if his NFL career depended on it. However, I think Tate is going to be incredible, even if it means he's not playing receiver much.

Good point. Those LSU receivers made that very average LSU quarterback look good. I dont know how many times I thought Flynn had overthrown a receiver and then at the last second the receivers made great plays to get seperation or go up and get the ball. It was incredible watching that receiving corps last night. If the title game proved anything, it's that you can't have too many receivers/runningbacks and that there are plenty... no, infinite amounts of ways to get the ball into everyones hands.

This is a great problem to have because it's not a problem at all. Every week there will be mismatches to exploit and different personel to use.

Espnu- D-walker Summary

There are a few other notable offensive skill prospects that saw their stock go down somewhat in the updated ESPN 150. WR Deion Walker (Christchurch, Va.) never had a chance to get going in Orlando due to a knee injury, but even on his first few days of practice we noticed his listed measurables did not quite add up and the talent at defensive back exposed some of his weaknesses

Don't really care what espn so called recruiting experts say. All game they kept talking about how the sec and acc teams had the best recruiting classes coming in. I wouldn't worry to much about what they think.
