| Walk-On | Yea, I agree, if Sweat came and both Filer and Sabino wanted to come, that could be a dilemma. I honestly find it hard to believe that CW wants to take more than 5 LBs in this class. I believe that CW will cap the LBs at 5 and someone will simply be left out. Back to Harper though, his versatility would be a great addition so that would be a very nice asset to have. I'm sure he could be used elsewhere, dare I say, even at CB. He could be one incredibly physical safety. |

| Walk-On | This kid looks like a tremendous athlete from the pictures, and the measurables are great. I would love to get a guy like him lining up at LB, if for no other reason that I am sure that he would excell as a Special Teamer if he had no success as a starter at LB. |

| Blue Chip Recruit | Harper provides the versatility that any college coach would love to have....to fill that position which went unfilled for any number of reasons. This kid has the size, speed and desire to make a great football player. And I assure you, he did not go unnoticed by FL and USC. |

An "athlete", but at his size and speed, he'd be perfect for a hard hitting safety. I don't agree with trying to move him to LB -- this guy could be a monster in the secondary for four years. |

| Junior | Only reason is that it is not a particularly strong recruiting area for ND. There is not a single kid that I know of on the current roster who is even from the state of Kansas. Other than that, because this is so new, there is very little other info about Harper, and what he might be thinking, other than he favored K-State early on. Anyway, no reason to get too excited because even though Rivals lists him as an offer, Harper's coach is saying that ND has not offered yet. Also, the coach is saying that if ND offers, they are recruiting him as a WR. Very interesting. |
