Chris list his top 5 as Cal, Illinois, Kansas State, Missouri, and Notre Dame. He also picked up a visit at school from Mike Haywood last week.

Cool. GG, I thought you said you'd gotten the sense we may have been out of the running here. Does this change things, or does he still seem like a long shot?

I think he's still a bit of a long shot unless he wants to play WR in college. Cal and ND are the WR schools here. The other three all want him at QB and I think he'll end up at one of those three.

From what I've read, he seems very interested in Cal and Missouri. He definately wants to play QB and I think that ND is just window dressing at this point.

If Gabbert is legitimately interested in Misouri, I wouldn't think he has a shot there as a QB prospect.

Not necessarily. Gabbert, Harper and Will Compton are all pretty good buddies. I think if Mizzou ends up with Compton and Gabbert, they have a better chance of Harper residing there as well.
