| Junior | Busy, busy time in South Bend. In addition to Newman, Sweat, and Forst visiting this weekend, and Goebel, scheduled for Wednesday, the big nasty one, Omar Hunter is also scheduled to visit the Irish in the next few days. Now, Omar has to be still considered a long shot for the Irish, but ND is in his latest Top 5. Also, when you consider that all of the scUM recruiting sites were telling scUM fans that the minute Omar gets an offer from Michigan, he would be a Wolverine, the mere fact that he is visiting ND is simply delightful. Just imagine if Big Omar were actually to commit to the Irish. If that happened I predict that the whole western side of the state of Michigan might fall into Lake Michigan because it will be so tilted from scUM fans heading to the Lake to off themselves. Anybody want to but some new lakefront property in Lansing? |

| Junior | Omar is supposed to be in South Bend tomorrow, and Ann Arbor on Thursday, with the rumor that he will commit by the end of the week. If that is true, then I guess ND is in the Big Man's final 2. They are really going to have wow him tomorrow for the Irish to actually win this battle, especially with Newman now on board. On the other hand, Big Omar knows that ND may have only one D-line spot left, so if he is really interested in ND, he knows that time is running out. We will see, but the consensus seems to be that scUM will win this one. |
