| Waterboy | Now rivals has totally removed him from the tight end rankings and list him as the 20th best O tackle prospect. Is there anything to this because it doesn't seem like just a screw up anymore? Joseph Fauria - Football Recruiting If anyone remembers didn't Mark Levoir come in as a tight end but end up as an offensive lineman? |

I believe he said that anyone who recruits him as a TE is off the list; he wants to be a WR. On 9/14/07, Rivals wrote the following story covering tight ends: Joseph Fauria 6-8, 250, Encino (Calif.) Crespi Gotta like this size. He really looks tall on tape. Like all young, tall kids, he needs to learn how to bend his knees more consistently. Needs strength. Is more of a "position" blocker at this stage of his career. Needs to be more consistent catching with hands and not let balls into body. Has all the tools and should be able to get stronger and faster as he matures. May have as much "down the road" potential as any. Verbally committed to Notre Dame. IrishIllustrated.com - The Breakdown: Tight ends However ND uses him, I doubt they would have decided now and let rivals know. I think its gotta be a mistake. | Blue Chip Recruit | This may be completely off the topic, but is there a way for a OT to become an eligible receiver? I swear I have seen a lineman go unnoticed and catch a TD pass before... Not that Fauria should switch, he is a great TE, but knowing Charlie's propensity to use the trickeration.... |
