well, when it happens, I hope Goshen updates the front page with Blanton's picture - Omar hasn't blinked in weeks and quite frankly, I feel like I'm being "mad dogged" by Omar everyday! LOL - sorry if the ghetto in me came out with the "mad dogg" reference. LOL!

Anyway, now that I threw this thread off track an hour ago, and even though no one else has asked the question, why tomorrow at 3 P.M., the reason is that Blanton is on campus without Mom and the e-Man who are both probably working today. He wants to do it tomorrow via conference call with CW & his parents so that they can all enjoy the moment together. Blanton is obviously a great kid as well as a great athlete, and will be an absolutely tremendous addition to the ND family.

Remember that Gary Gray will most likely have to redshirt next year, so Irish fans can look forward to Gray and Blanton playing together for 4 years, an absolute drop dead cover corner in Gray, and a physical keep them off balance corner in Blanton. What a combination. Throw in Harrison Smith, and possibly Danny McCarthy and Slaughter, and ND would have the talent, at least on paper, to go from one of the worst Defensive Backfields in the country to one of the best in just a few short years.
