| Junior | Cyrus Gray, a Rivals 250 to watch for 2008 RB prospect, is now listed as an Official Offer on Irish Envy, B&G, and Rivals. Cyrus becomes the 2nd Texas running back along with Sam McGuffie, and 5th Texas athlete overall, to pick up an offer from Notre Dame. Similar to McGuffie, Cyrus Gray has also not received an offer from Texas. Cyrus has also not attracted the same attention on a national recruiting scale as McGuffie, as all of his offers prior to Notre Dame were from schools in the Southwest. Gray had originally planned to make an early decision on his school of choice, but since picking up the ND offer, he has decided to wait. |

| LeBron James of VC | Oklahoma seemed to be leading for him, from what i've been reading, but they just picked up their 2nd elite RB in this class. Scout says he has offeres from LSU, Oklahoma, Texas Tech/ A&M and Notre Dame. Do you think now that the Sooners have taken another great RB in this class that he will be looking ND's way some more? i dont know much about him, any thoughts? |

| Junior | Talk about speed and athleticism. Recent unverified 40 of 4.32 and vertical of 36". Second fastest HS 100 in the state of Texas at 10.43. 2006 Stats: Rushing 220 Attempts, 1,510 yards, 31 TD's Receiving 38 Receptions, 438 yards, 2 TD's 4 additional TD's on Punt Returns, for a total of 37 TD's for the season. No offer from Texas, what do they know that the other 18 schools that have offered him don't? Well, actually it's just great fun to recruit for Texas, because they already have verbal's from 3 RB's that they obviously thought higher of. Imagine being a First Team All-State RB from Texas as a Junior, with those stats and that speed, and not even being able to get an offer from Texas. The talent in the Lone Star state is just overwhelming. |

He has said also mentioned that he wouldn't mind playing in a colder climate.
