I don't think 180 lbs. is big enough to play RB at the college level, do I think he should be used as a WR and a return guy? Hell yeah, I'm not saying that he doesn't have speed or the ability to stretch the field out of the as a wideout, Just from what I saw he has more of the small receivers type body then as a viable every down back. Look at Prince last year, he was probably the fastest of all the RB's last year but he got little playing time because he didn't seem physical enough to to take the pounding, or block a blitz. Gallup actually reminds me of Joey Getherall.

Can't break tackles? well, I guess not when your out running the guy that as the angle on you and barely touches you. I don't care what people say from what I have seen if he commits to ND he will be electric, and I would love to have him. And why do we have to refer to him as a white Reggie Bush? Why is everything about race on here....just kidding LOL

Here's my take, I don't care if he's black, white, green, orange whatever he looks like a player. In my opinion if you have the ability to play ball and make people look that bad in Texas HS football you have the ability to play anywhere. I was just looking at Armando Allen highlights on YouTube and I think they compare favorably to each other. It would be sick to have AA and McGuffie on the field at the same time. no matter what we have on offense we still need playmakers and thats exactly what this guy looks like.

Maybe 180 isn't enough but McGuffie's 191 and still a HS Junior. He may not grow anymore but it's likely he will. Regardless, Julius Jones and Darius Walker were the same height and weight when they started playing at ND. Two of the top rushers in ND history. Not in Rockne's Era but this millenium. McGuffie has the extra gear that Darius didn't and his Bench as a Junior in HS is similar to Julius as an ND upperclassman.

As far as breaking tackles watch his video against Katy. He gets hit, breaks a tackle, get hits again and breaks the tackle while running backwards for a couple of yards breaking more tackles and THEN outrunning the defenders to the endzone. He runs outside, he runs inside, he cutbacks, and he takes advantage of his blockers.

where ever he goes I bet the coach will have him tone down the leap frog . He may get away with it once or twice but he could get killed doing that
