this is assuming that JC wins the QB battle this year right? Either way I think Crist is an "almost must get" kind of guy because we don't know whats going to happen as far as people leaving and what not after this year. I meab you figure if Sharpley doesn't win the starting spot this year he might just go baseball. I figure we lose someone after this year at the QB spot.

Right NDBCS, thanks for clarifying. I'm not sure that even if JC played a lot this year, and did have enough credits to graduate as a Junior that he would actually leave early. Either way Crist with a redshirt would have the opportunity to play every game in his Junior & Senior year, if he is good enough. Before BQ, and now possibly Clausen, two years as the starting QB at ND was more of the norm than the exception.

Very brief, nothing negative, but nothing exciting either, kind of lukewarm. This is just me reading between the lines, but I got the impression that he did not seem to be all that taken by that Southern charm. I could be dead wrong, though.

According to the USC message boards, El Poodle has finally offered Dayne Crist. As of yet there has been no independent confirmation of this, but there was shock and dismay that Crist had not immediately committed to his highness. Crist has given no indication that he would be overwhelmed by a USC offer, the shock and dismay is standard fare anytime a recruit receives an offer from the condoms and does not immediately supplicate himself to the Poodle, and beg to be allowed to commit on the spot. Still, if the offer is confirmed, it will bear watching what Dayne says and does in the next few weeks.

"Among the Top" and the Top is seven schools. Doesn't sound like he is ready to supplicate himself. As always, Crist is short, sweet, and to the point. He handles himself very well, which is a defining characteristic of an ND QB.
