Patrick Johnson went from a 16-22. They will flag tests that increase by 5 points or more.

do they only do that for football recruits?

anyway.. if you take the ACT once.. you usually do very badly.. the first time is quite an experience.. than you jump big time the 2nd time..

No they do it for all athletes. Deshaun Stephenson that plays in the NBA was supposed to go to KU but his score jumped too much and got him flagged so he just went to the NBA. Also most people say it is really hard to improve, and that if you retake the test you should only expect a 1 to 2 point increase, it isn't one of those get better w/ practice type things.

Actually the score of any person that has a jump like that gets flagged and put under review

Actually you can practice it, there are many practices test/books/programs/classes, that will help you do better. My friend jumped from a 29 to a perfect score 36.

Big differenece going from a 29-36 and a 16-22...29 the kid actually started out really smart!
