Rivals has not posted it yet, but McCarthy is supposed to have received a scholarship offer from Stanford on Friday, a day before the ND offer.

just watching some film on mccarthy, the kid could proubaly play at any school he wanted to. he's got to average at least 100 YAC yards a game, you never see him go down until the third or fourth time he gets hit. sure hope charlie can sweet talk him to play where ever he wants to on the field
