| I personally get the impression that he likes NU more than ND, or is at least more comfortable there. But he has also mentioned that one of his major CFB goals is to win a NC, so the longer Callahan sticks around the more coaching uncertainly there will be which great decreses the chance of a NC, as would a newer unproved HC if Callahan were to be replaced which is something that I think will happen. I think the worst thing for ND would be if NU fired Callahan and were able to replace him with a big name proven coach that will creat a big splash which would cause everyone to start thinking about a NC 3 or 4 years down the road. So basically I think the longer the NU coaching situation drags out the better it is for ND. |
